Wikipedia - Weston FC

Weston FC is a soccer club in Weston, Florida competing in the USL League Two. They are also one of the largest soccer clubs in the country for youth soccer.

History

The club was founded in 1998 as a youth soccer club. They have approximately 1,100 players and 70 teams registered in their youth program, developing several players such as Inter Miami CF players Benjamin Cremaschi, Noah Allen, George Acosta, among others across the MLS. In 2020, they were selected as one of the clubs to join the new MLS Next academy program.

In 2015, Weston added a semi-professional team in the National Premier Soccer League. They moved their team to the Premier Development League in 2017.

Weston FC on professionaalne jalgpalliklubi, mis asub Miamis Floridas. Klubi asutati 2006. aastal ja alates 2020. aastast mängib see USL liigas, mis on Ameerika Ühendriikide jalgpalli suuruselt teine liiga.

Weston FC kodustaadion on DRV PNK Stadium, millel on 18 000 istekohta. Klubi värvid on sinine, valge ja must ning selle logo on stiliseeritud W-täht, mis on Miami linna sümbol.

Weston FC on võitnud USL liiga meistritiitli kaks korda, aastatel 2017 ja 2019. Klubi on jõudnud ka US Open Cup poolfinaali aastatel 2018 ja 2020.

Weston FC peatreener on Michael Anhaeuser ja klubi kapten on Andrew Jean-Baptiste. Klubi koosseisus on mitmeid silmapaistvaid mängijaid, sealhulgas endine USA jalgpallikoondise liige Brek Shea ja endine Guatemalako jalgpallikoondise liige Carlos Ruiz.
