Meeskond osaleb The Basketball Tournament'is (TBT), mille auhinnaks on 2 miljonit dollarit. Illinois Springfieldi peatreener on David Greer ja abitreenerid on Jason Williamson ja Jeremy Hibbitts. Meeskonna kodusaal on Bank of Springfield Center.

Meeskonna nime inspireeris Abraham Lincoln, kes elas enne presidendiks saamist Illinois Springfieldi linnas. Meeskonna logo kujutab Lincolni siluetti, mille kohal on korvpall.
